Google has made some great changes to Classroom this year! Check out the new improvements!
Learn more from the Google Teacher Center! Google for Education Classroom Training We hope you are still enjoying your summer! With the new school year approaching fast, the Technology Literacy Coaches will be providing a weekly tip or trick to help with teaching and learning! These tips and tricks will be posted to the blog each Tuesday. Some of them may be slightly more generic, while others may be beneficial for a specific grade or subject area. The goal will be to keep the blog posts brief but will also allow you the opportunity to learn more info or as always, you can contact your TLC with additional questions! With our students now having devices at their desktops, we want our students to become active learners. We have a great opportunity this year to use Nearpod or Pear Deck to increase student engagement. We will have Nearpod for our Kindergarten and 1st Grade classrooms and Pear Deck for our 2nd through 8th grade classrooms.
Both learning tools provide lessons to be more interactive, the ability to assess students, self-paced mode or teacher driven mode, and provides students to have a voice in your classroom. Training will be provided at the beginning of the school year. If you are excited to jump in, these guides will help you get started.
Free feel to contact your TLC for more information. |
