After 5 full days of school, things are off to a great start! We've deployed hundreds of new devices, and have started having Kinder, First, and Second graders getting used to the new iPads. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been great at logging on to the Chromebooks!
With a lot more of learning to go, we are off to a great start! After the completion of our STAR Assessments in the coming weeks, the TLC's will be eager to help with further integration and learning with these new devices!

As teachers and staff return to the district this morning, we would like to remind teachers that there have been many updates from the technology department over the summer! Hundreds of new devices are being deployed, changes and updates to the technology framework have been made, new typing curriculum, and a couple new staff members are just a few of the changes that will allow us to have a great school year!
As we begin to implement these new things and integrate technology for our students, teachers are encouraged to reach out to the Technology Literacy Coaches for any help or support that you might need! The Student Connections/Resources webpage has been updated! If you haven't checked it out, be sure to do so! You can access the site from the district home page or by using the link http://d70schools.org/students/
Most of the same great websites and links can still be found. However, if you notice that something is missing or if you think something should be added, please feel free to email Chris Vipond or simply submit a Tech Ticket. Also, please note the newest addition in the resources section titled "Tutorials". This section has a variety of useful documents primarily focused on students using district technology. Additional tutorials will be added throughout the year! |
